JoAnn Lippert travels the world combining a passion for adventure travel and photography. Her passion for mountain climbing, trekking and whitewater rafting has taken her to all corners of the earth including Africa, South America, Asia, Papua New Guinea and living with stone-age cannibals in Irian Jaya.
The focus of her photography is the sights, colors and textures of world cultures and primitive tribes. Personal interaction with people is a pivotal part of her photographic approach. She participates in the culture rather than just observe it. Her travels have given her the opportunity to preserve through photography and video the rich cultural diversity of our planet.
Lippert uses both digital and film photographic equipment. She and her husband process the images using state of the art Epson Professional wide format ink jet printers and Epson’s highest archival quality inks and fine art papers and canvas.
